Sickle bar mower
Well, here's the sickle bar mower. As you can see from the background, it's a little wet. We got a few days of monsoon weather, and as I mentioned previously, we have some drainage issues.
Now I just need to figure out how this beastie works...
AH! The sickle-bar mower, something I remember from my youth. My dad, with his 1930s/40s narrow-wheeled Farmall towing that crazy thing behind the tractor on hills he had no business on. *shudder*
Much better when he shifted to the 1950s wide-stance Allis-Chalmers and then the brush hog for mowing.
