Now the only problem is that the water line from the well to the house has frozen. So we have no running water. Not an emergency at this point. But I've got to figure out how to either insulate it, or maybe wrap it in heat tape or something. I'd rather insulate though.--

Ha! When I saw your rain barrel, I had to do a double-take. We have the exact same ones! Too funny! Your woodstove looks a lot like ours, too. Thanks for the pics.
Good luck on the water issue. The installers probably never counted on a winter like you're having this year and didn't bury them deeply enough.
I like the color you've chosen for your metal roofing. That shade of red will make you look at the house more if it were the only red thing in the area. It can catch anyone's attention, and it makes the place a little bit inviting.
