Only one of our six hens is laying at the moment. She has quite the sense of humor. She'll go three days with no egg, and then she'll give us something the size of a large acorn with no yolk. I keep saying if she would just be consistent and always lay those yolkless eggs we could make a fortune ;).

Our "acorn" eggs are yolkless too.
It got me to thinking though... I guess you couldn't breed for yolkless eggs very well, huh?
That would make a very tiny omelette.
Silly little chickens. Would that be a problem originating with the hens or the roosters? Hmmm...
Funny nontheless. I can remember seeing a tomato that looked like a rabbit head (2 "ears" growing off it). Then there were my orange cukes.
Strangeness happens.
I just mean without a yolk, that chick's gonna have a hard time developing...
